OUR STORY

Founders Who Work With

Extraordinary Brands & Leaders

Gina Lanzafama: LA

2004-2005 Pivot Point: Gina’s Market Research industry shifted primary qualitative and quantitative data collection methodologies from phone to online. The Insights space was launching global unified panel and data fielding systems that would evolve into what today are Do-It-Yourself research marketplaces, many of which are now fueled by Artificial Intelligence.

Founder’s Inspiration: Our corporate program experience became our Business Transformation division. We learned how to set a Change in Motion® through trial and error. Most of the lessons learned were on the People-Side of change not on the Technology itself. The micro and macro cascading effects of transforming how employees, decision makers, and layers of external stakeholders did business felt like front row seats to a revolution. You cannot outsource change.  You cannot abdicate your responsibility to change.  Change is an experience that we co-create with our clients.

Michael McInerney: MAC

2004-2005 Pivot Point: Mike’s Waste industry implemented the first country- wide onboard commercial vehicle technology fleet, which became Smart Truck Tech for waste hauling, municipalities, transportation, logistics, distribution, and safety.  The Tech foundation for multiple vehicle-based industries was born.

Founder’s Inspiration: As former Operations executives who had to lead Tech rollouts and guide stakeholders through the change adoption curve, we wanted to help others more seamlessly do the same by building a 360-degree Tech deployment offering. We included upfront Tech HaaS installation and SaaS implementation in our services provided along with the Organization Development people elements that we witnessed neglected by companies. Vital components to project ROI like training, program team recruitment, coaching, change support, and the corresponding Tech talent impact on labor models, culture, and long-term skill development.

The Whole Story

It all started 20 years ago.  2004 to 2005 was a pivotal point when both of our industries transitioned towards running on Technology infrastructures.  We were each selected for corporate program teams to pilot, test and deploy innovations at our organizations.  Those Tech programs would motivate two decades of industry changes.

Gina’s Market Research industry shifted primary qualitative and quantitative data collection methodologies from phone to online.   The insights space was launching global unified panel and data fielding systems that would evolve into what today are Do-It-Yourself research marketplaces, many of which are now fueled by Artificial Intelligence.  Mike’s Waste industry implemented the first country-wide onboard commercial vehicle technology fleet, which became Smart Truck Tech for waste hauling, municipalities, transportation, logistics, distribution, and safety.

We learned how to set a Change in Motion® through trial and error.  Most of the lessons learned were on the People-Side of change not on the Technology itself.  The micro and macro cascading effects of transforming how employees, decision makers, and layers of external stakeholders did business felt like front row seats to a revolution.

2005 was also the year that we became business partners.  First, we bought a residential real estate investment property, then we renovated a commercial space together.  Those proofs of concept began to formulate a bigger business vision for the future.  In hindsight 2004 and 2005 built the foundation for and the inspiration for The LAMAC Group.

A decade later, these experiences founded LAMAC’s company mission.  As former Operations executives who had to lead Tech rollouts and guide stakeholders through the change adoption curve, we wanted to help others more seamlessly do the same by building a 360-degree Tech deployment offering. We included upfront Tech HaaS installation and SaaS implementation in our services provided along with the Organization Development people elements that we witnessed neglected by companies. Vital components to project ROI like training, team recruitment, coaching, change support, and the corresponding Tech talent impact on labor models, culture, and long-term skill development.

Our corporate program experience became our Business Transformation division offering Tech program design and staffing for PMOs (Project Management Offices).   Next, our Smart Truck Tech understanding shaped our Waste Technologies services from Cameras to Weight scales and Telematics to Maintenance as a Service subscription plans.  Our Tech research and metrics practice fueled Business Intelligence and Insights providing data collection plans to help executives lead through corporate change. Similarly, our combined real estate renovation and tech installation knowledge inspired our Smart Homes group, which moved homeowners toward energy efficient work from home living.  Finally, 10 years of empathy for the entrepreneurial pursuit naturally made us geared towards partnership and mentorship of other Start Ups

We endlessly looked for new avenues to help people change.  In 2024, we piloted the Change Exchange®.  We loved the thought leadership coming out of this platform.  It required leaders to take radical accountability for their own self-expansion by consciously setting business intentions and demonstrating an unwavering commitment to evolve themselves as they created corporate growth.

After all these years in the Tech Change Game, we no longer sell a change methodology. Sure, there are phases to adoption, but you need to pull audibles on the field.  Organizations consider multiple variables during the planning phase that shift during implementation.  To change the tires on a moving bus, you must be simultaneously prepared and adaptable.  Instead of a methodology, we embedded our values into our products.  Aligned action, the spirit of play found in experimental learning, and the authenticity of creative expression are the essence of who we are, what we do, and how we do it.  You cannot outsource change.  You cannot abdicate your responsibility to change.  Change is an experience, and we look forward to continuing to co-create that journey with our clients.
